Comments on the Preview Steppin into Love:  The Stage Play by Van Gray

I felt the show was refreshingly different.  There was no drug adicts, no wife beaters, no child molesters, and no cheating husbands.  It was just a play about middle-class blacks trying to find love in life.  I thought it was funny and excellent.

It was a very good play. The actors/actresses were good.  They showed alot of enthusiasm.  The venue location was not a good fit for the play.  The actors/actresses coming from the audience was not a good look.  It was a big distraction.

We had a blast!  Great job to you all!  I thought both you and Van have some serious skills, keep pursuing it.

Great story line! We really liked the monologue.  The sound system wasn't the greatest but Tyra, Pam & Herb were AWESOME!  Tyra was too adorable

Shirley's performance was great and the play was good too. the south shore cultural center has a stage and would be a bit better fit and is only $3697 per day...

I would love a copy of the soundtrack - I'm really into music and the soundtrack was so well thought out - particularly the scene with Jason... damn  The show was excellent but the soundtrack and meaning with each song to align with the play was awesome..

Congratulations!!! Job well done. The actors/actresses were well chosen. Sylvia was hilarious.  Hey be sure to keep the scene with Herb and the "mysterious plate" sliding back and forth from behind the curtain in the show. That was funny. Great Music choices. Looking forward to the next project

The show was really really good - I loved the different dimensions of the characters and how it showed Steppers and our communities in a favorable light... and my husband said I don't know who that brother is but he definitely got the Steppin culture right....What is the date it will run in 2010 - please post on your site???

The actors/actresses were excellent!  For this to be Van Gray's first play...it was well put together. I'm sure Van is taking notes and tweeking things for the next one?  There has to be another play?  You sure can't knock a brother for stepping out on faith.  Good job! Go Vince (Aaron Burkes)!

"I attended the play, Steppin Into Love on Sunday, my birthday, the character played by Sylvia Fedrick was hilarious, she gave bad advise, but she was truly funny"

I felt the transition from one scene to another could have went smoother, but overall a play worth going to see
